Claritix App — Terms of Service

1. Description of the Service

Claritix is an AI-powered decision coaching tool designed to structure and clarify your decision-making processes. It is built upon the professional methodology of certified decision coach Banu Ünal Ergün (MSc Business Excellence, University of Warwick).

By creating an account, accessing, or using the service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

2. AI-Generated Content and Limitation of Liability

For critical decisions concerning health, financial assets, legal rights, or major life relationships, you must consult a qualified, licensed professional.

By utilizing the service, you acknowledge and agree that all generated content is provided strictly for informational and self-reflection purposes on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis.

3. Crisis Situations and Emergency Support

This application is NOT an emergency response service and does not provide crisis intervention or emergency rescue.

If you are experiencing thoughts of self-harm or suicide, contemplating harming others, or experiencing domestic abuse or violence, the application is programmed to immediately halt coaching conversations and provide verified emergency contact details. These crisis referral messages are strictly hardcoded and never generated by AI.

In Türkiye:

• 112 — Emergency Call Center (immediate danger or urgent help)
• 183 — ALO Social Support (guidance on violence, abuse, and family/social services; 24/7)

If you are located outside Türkiye, please access findahelpline.com to locate free, confidential, and verified crisis helplines in your country.

4. Your Account

We do not store or utilize passwords; upon logging in, a single-use verification code is dispatched to your registered email address. You remain solely responsible for the security and confidentiality of your email account.

In Profile, you can delete data on your device and, if signed in, your server account, usage record, and encrypted backup. This cannot be undone. A session request already emailed to Banu is not automatically deleted from the mailbox. To request deletion of that copy, email [email protected].

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You expressly agree not to:

• Use the service for any purpose that violates applicable local, national, or international laws.
• Attempt to extract, decompile, scrape, copy, or reverse-engineer the underlying artificial intelligence models, system prompts, or core coaching heuristics.
• Submit content that infringes upon the rights of others, or is abusive, hateful, or harmful.
• Access the platform utilizing automated scripts, bots, or unauthorized scraping tools exceeding customary human interaction limits.

6. Fair Usage Limits

The current free tier is subject to monthly message, synthesis report, and advisory board session quotas. These thresholds support technical sustainability and are shown inside the app. Reaching a quota does not alter or remove your previously saved data.

7. Ownership of Your Content

Everything you create within the application — your decisions, journal entries, notes, and sealed envelopes — remains your exclusive property.

The vast majority of your content resides strictly on your local device. To generate interactive coaching responses, message prompts are transmitted to our AI infrastructure provider (Google Gemini); the provider processes this data solely on our behalf and does not use your content to train foundational AI models.

We never share, license, or sell your data to advertising, analytics, or data-broker partners. We maintain no advertising partnerships.

8. Intellectual Property

The application software, visual interface, brand identity, coaching methodologies, decision frameworks, and diagnostic tools are the proprietary intellectual property of Banu Ünal Ergün. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior express written authorization.

9. Subscriptions and Payments

The Claritix app and session-request flow do not take payment; there are no in-app purchases or subscriptions, and this flow does not ask for payment details. Human coaching separately agreed with Banu Ünal Ergün outside the app may be paid. Sending a request does not create a booking, purchase, or payment obligation.

A paid app plan may be introduced in the future. If it is:

• You will never be charged without your knowledge. You move to a paid plan only by making an explicit purchase; your existing account does not convert into a paid subscription on its own.
• A free tier will remain. Core coaching use will continue to be available free of charge within daily or monthly limits.
• The scope and limits of the free tier may change over time. Changes are announced inside the app before they take effect. This section does not mean that any particular feature or limit remains free indefinitely.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the service. The service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms. You may terminate this agreement at any time by deleting your account and removing the application from your device.

12. Apple App Store Supplementary Terms

If you downloaded or accessed the application via the Apple App Store:

• These Terms constitute an agreement between you and Banu Ünal Ergün, not Apple Inc. We are solely responsible for the application and its content.
• Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance or customer support services regarding the application.
• Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to the application, including product liability, regulatory non-compliance, or intellectual property infringement.
• Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and, upon your acceptance, Apple shall have the right to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. The courts and enforcement directorates of Bursa, Türkiye shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any legal dispute.

14. Amendments to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Updates will be announced within the application. Your continued use of Claritix following such updates signifies your acceptance of the revised terms.
